## The Secret Life of Elevator Buttons
As I stepped into the elevator on my way to the office, I couldn't help but notice the peculiar arrangement of buttons on the control panel. They were arranged in a seemingly random pattern, with the 5th floor button nestled snugly between the 3rd and 7th floor buttons. It was as if the designer had deliberately placed it there to create a sense of disorientation.
But what really caught my attention was the way the buttons seemed to be reflecting the light from the overhead lamp. The metallic surface of each button was casting a miniature shadow on the wall behind it, creating a tiny, intricate pattern that seemed to shift and change as the elevator moved.
Today I realized: the humble elevator button is not just a utilitarian device, but a tiny, overlooked work of art that holds the power to create moments of beauty in the most mundane of spaces.
