## The Language of Faded Labels
As I stood in the grocery store, waiting for my turn to check out, my gaze wandered to the shelf of expired products. The faded labels on the old jars and cans seemed to whisper stories of forgotten recipes and abandoned meals. I noticed how the once-vibrant colors had dulled, like the memories of a bygone era. The creases on the labels told tales of being handled, of being passed from hand to hand, of being left behind.
The words "Sell By" and "Best If Used By" now seemed like a cruel joke, a reminder of the transience of time and the impermanence of things. I thought about how these labels, once so full of promise, had become a testament to the passage of time. They were a reminder that even the most mundane objects hold a story, a story that's waiting to be uncovered.
Today I realized: the faded labels on expired products hold more truth than any expiration date.
